What is the EMPRO Development Program?

under the initiative Women's Business Growth, Women Entrepreneurs Progressing Program - EMPRO of INCAE Business School, aims to contribute with 100% scholarships for the formation of 40 businesswomen from Honduras, through training specifically designed to acquire the necessary knowledge for the transformation and scaling of their businesses and greater access to financing.

EMPRO I'ts divided into three phases:

  1. Recruitment and Enrollment
  2. Training (tutoring and mentoring)
  3. Business conference.

    INCAE Business School promotes in Honduras, under the Women's Business Growth initiative, the development program Empresarias Progresando (EMPRO), which seeks to benefit 40 small and medium-sized companies led by Honduran women.

    The EMPRO program, which has the financial support and accompaniment of the PriceSmart Foundation and Cargill, is designed so that through a series of training sessions, the participants achieve the transformation and scaling of their businesses, also promoting access to new financing.

    After a long process of selection and evaluation of more than 200 entries from Honduran women to participate in the Progressive Entrepreneurs Program (EMPRO), today we announce the 40 winners.

    These 40 women with the desire to continue transforming their business were selected by an Evaluation Committee whose members carefully reviewed the merits of each of the applicants.
