The following privacy statement provides information on the collection, use, processing and exchange of data of people who access our digital channels and consequently our academic programs and other INCAE activities. The handling of data by the Directorate of Academic Records is based on the regulations of the Family Educational Right and Privacy Act, FERPA, of the Federal Government of the United States (Family Rights for Education and Privacy Act).

A1.12 Library System

The personal data that we collect at INCAE is managed internally by the organization. However, in some very particular cases we may share some of your data for academic purposes, as indicated in the examples below:

F. On the material provided in the teaching-learning process

INCAE is committed to offering you the best experience during the process of your training / updating at the institution. However, it is important to mention your responsibility with the handling of the data and / or information that is provided to you during your stay with us and after it.

INCAE, through its Library System, manages the academic material produced at the institution. This material is protected by copyright. The Library System adds a confidentiality note each time the material is used, making it clear the purpose for which it is being transferred temporarily.

In the case of materials produced by the Faculty and / or researchers, such as, for example, slides provided by their Professor, it is assumed that the material complements the teaching-learning process, strengthens their training and understanding of the subject being studied. However, the material may not be published or used in any other way without the consent of the author.
