What is LEADS Academy for Women?

LEADS Academy for Women is a platform that enables women Latin American women entrepreneurs take a program that will offer them tools and knowledge to perfect their business strategy, with the aim of making their companies grow. 

This is a multi-phase training program in which a select group of 40 businesswomen will receive training, tutorial to carry out a robust business plan, regional networking or with a personalized follow-up for 6 months after the end of the plan, in order to measure success in the application.

LEADS, which stands for Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Development and Sustainability, was born from the research carried out at DRCLAS at Harvard and covered by CNN on "The challenge of women entrepreneurs in Latin America", in which more than 400 businesswomen from all over the region identified as risk of abandonment the lack of financial resources, the lack of support networks and the lack of management training. This study was carried out by Cardoza, Ilie, García and Fernández.
