Training and specialization of entrepreneurs

At INCAE's Center for Entrepreneurship (LACE), we focus on providing high-quality academic and teaching programs in entrepreneurship. Our Master of Entrepreneurship prepares future entrepreneurs with the proven tools and methodologies necessary to succeed in the competitive business world.
We are proud to attract the best student entrepreneurs looking to develop their business ideas in the region. In addition, we offer the Charles Haimoff scholarship for entrepreneurship, which supports students interested in entrepreneurship and who wish to study our degree programs.
Our master's degree is not only a place of learning, but also an incubation space for entrepreneurial projects. Numerous startups have emerged here that have accelerated their growth to become successful and real companies. In addition, we have open and acceleration programs, such as INCAE Labs, designed to provide startup founders with tools and increase their chances of success.
Strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem of the region

The initiative works on the development and implementation of initiatives that impact entrepreneurship in emerging economies and create synergies between them.
- We support Alumni or MBA graduates through programs aimed at strengthening entrepreneurship in their countries and in the Latin American region.
- We develop networks of entrepreneurs who seek to strengthen local ecosystems taking advantage of their multidisciplinary nature.
Knowledge dissemination

The Initiative dedicates a good part of its resources to creating spaces for the generation and dissemination of knowledge about entrepreneurship in emerging economies.
- We position INCAE as an academic benchmark in the entrepreneurial ecosystem of the region through academic research and the development of teaching cases on entrepreneurship that are based on Latin American experiences.
- We organize forums, conferences and other spaces for discussion about the reality of entrepreneurship in the Latin American region.
How do we do it?
The INCAE Entrepreneurship Center was launched in 2016, thanks to the generous support of the Charles Haimoff Endowment and EMBA 2011. Its mission is to promote entrepreneurship in the region through the organization of academic programs, conferences, webinars, awards, alliances, and other initiatives.
Among the main functions of LACE is the administration of the institution's specialized master's degree in Entrepreneurship, the development of programs and initiatives to support entrepreneurship, such as the Virtual Accelerator, the Acceleration Workshops and the INCAE Emprende Network.
Likewise, it works closely with the main actors of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the region to promote the changes necessary to stimulate the creation of companies and the generation of employment through specific programs such as the INCAE Entrepreneur Award and the Equity Finance Initiative, among others.
