Formulation of Bankable Climate Projects

How we finance climate initiatives, and how Latin American countries advance in the development of bankable climate projects is fundamental for the implementation of their Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC for its acronym in English), and the fulfillment of the goal of 1,5º Celsius.

As a way of supporting Latin American countries in this area, the EUROCLIMA + Program through the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, within the framework of the Climate Governance Component, in collaboration with the Latin American Center for Competitiveness and Development Sustainable (CLACDS) of INCAE Business School will teach the training program Formulation of bankable climate projects.

This program, aimed at public sector officials who are involved in the implementation and establishment of projects associated with compliance with the NDC, seeks to contribute to the development of capacities to access climate finance and private investment to implement the priorities in the NDCs of the countries of the region.
