Methodology

  • Experiential. A wide range of experiential methodologies will be used –simulations, role playing, cases, outdoor sessions, appreciative inquiry workshop– that will allow participants to develop and evaluate their management and leadership skills in real time.

  • Self appraisal. Throughout the program, participants will complete questionnaires to assess their leadership attitudes and competencies in areas such as: self-knowledge, listening skills, managerial skills, and emotional leadership styles.

  • Group coaching. Participants will learn to develop the style of leader as a coach, through the practice of group coaching sessions. 

  • Individual Development Plan. The program seeks for each participant to find their own path and leadership model. For this, they will be given models of Individual Development Plans, with guides for their design, execution and evaluation. 

  • Intensive schedule. INCAE recognizes the difficulty of many participants to be absent from their organizations for a period longer than a week. For this reason, it will work approximately 14 hours a day. This encourages coexistence between people from different countries, industries and areas of performance.
     

Participant profile

The program is aimed at all professionals who must exercise the functions of management and leadership in their work functions.
The eventual participation of several members of an organization will allow to tackle team strategies
to implement after the program. 

Group coaching sessions, in these cases, will be carried out with members of the same organizations.
