Pedro Raventos | INCAE

Biography

He is a Full Professor at INCAE Business School, where he teaches Industrial Organization, eBusiness and International Finance. He has an M.A. and a Ph.D. from Harvard University.

He has conducted research on capital flows to emerging economies, sovereign debt renegotiation processes, particularly that of Ecuador and Argentina, privatization processes in Central America, company valuation methodologies and, more recently, global investment strategies.

His article "The External Debt of Ecuador" appeared in Cuadernos de Economía. His articles "Deregulating Telecommunications in Central America" ​​and "Building Electricity Markets in Central America" ​​were published in Larrain, F (2001): Economic Development in Central America, Harvard University Press. In the last issue of the Incae Magazine he published "The consistent use of flows and rates in the valuation of companies and projects."

He has advised companies and organizations on risk management, regulation and investment strategies. He has also investigated restructuring processes in the electricity and telecommunications industries of Central America, concentrating on regulatory and financial aspects.
