Biography

Dr. Arnoldo Rodríguez is an associate professor at INCAE in the areas of Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting and Control. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management. Likewise, he is a graduate of INCAE's master's degree. Professor Rodríguez is the Director of INCAE's Master's program in Analytics, Innovation and Technology (MAIT).

He also works as a consultant to companies in Latin America and has been a visiting professor at the University of Minnesota, Webster University in St. Louis, and has given talks and classes at universities throughout Latin America. His main academic interests focus on the topics of Value Creation, Risk Management and Analysis of Accounting Systems and the way companies structure and manage these topics in the analytics era.

Work experience

He currently works as an assistant professor at INCAE in the courses of: Financial and Management Accounting, Control and Budgeting and Applied Research.

He also conducts refresher seminars in the area of ​​Executive Training, and is Director of the INCAE Research Center.

Among the other activities he carries out, Prof. Rodríguez is a Business Consultant in the Central American region, a member of the American Accounting Association and an advisor to the Government of Costa Rica in the areas of Fraud and Manipulation of accounting figures.
