Global Competitiveness Report 2020

Under the title The Global Competitiveness Report Special Edition 2020: How Countries are Performing On The Road To Recovery, an extraordinary version of the Global Competitiveness Report 16 of the World Economic Forum (WEF) was published in Geneva, Switzerland on December 2020. On occasion, the report suspends its well-known global rankings to, instead, analyze the unprecedented environment derived from the COVID-19 crisis and project possible futures for the recovery of national and regional economies.

Through its Latin American Center for Competitiveness and Sustainable Development (CLACDS), INCAE Business School has contributed since 1996 - almost a quarter of a century - in the preparation of said report as a regional partner of the World Economic Forum. Using a rigorous methodology, attentive to the transformations, opportunities and institutional and political lags in the region, the diagnosis has repeatedly pointed out the need to fully integrate the region into the fourth industrial revolution.
