The independent organization Catalyst, which focuses on women and their business positions, conducted a study of 300 Fortune 500 companies in the late 90s, in which it found that companies that had women in management positions had a result optimal and achieved a high return on equity, and a higher return on equity with investors, (exceeded by a third). Catalyst also revealed that with at least three women in a company they outperformed the competition.
