INCAE Business School is a pioneering institution, being one of the first business schools in the world and in Latin America to create a research center dedicated to issues of collaborative leadership and gender diversity. The origins of the Center date back to its beginnings in 2007, the center that was then called the Center for the Leadership, Development and Advancement of Women, was created by the Rector at that time Roberto Artavia and Professor Susan Clancy. During the administration of the rector of Arturo Condo, it continued its path of growth and was relaunched in 2013 under the name of Center for Collaborative and Women's Leadership (CLCM) and in 2022 it was renamed as Center for Inclusive and Sustainable Leadership, both transformations were carried out by the Dean of INCAE Camelia Ilie, who is currently the Center's Chair.
