“For Coope Ande it is a great honor to be part of this great program that will further support and promote the economic development of Costa Rica. We are sure all these women will achieve their goal of growing their companies and with them they will improve the lives of many people around them,” said Luis Diego Zamora Castro, manager of commercial services at Coope Ande.

The development program, which lasts approximately one year, begins with virtual classes, and continues with personalized mentoring for 6 months to develop and implement a robust personalized acceleration plan. In the month of August they will meet in person at the INCAE Campus to present their projects, finish refining their training in project presentation skills, as well as develop networking opportunities.

“We started this project with great enthusiasm. The 40 businesswomen will strengthen their business management skills, as well as their leadership, networking and negotiation skills with suppliers, financiers and other essential allies for the growth of their businesses. We know that by empowering women entrepreneurs and their businesses, we enhance the well-being and social progress of their families and communities,” said Camelia Ilie, Dean and President of the Center for Inclusive and Sustainable Leadership.
