Civil Society Organizations from El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras will be trained in management and transparency

• Representatives of Non-Governmental Organizations and Non-Profit Organizations from the Northern Triangle will participate in these training sessions that will be held virtually between December 2022 and May 2023.

December 2022.- The Program for the Improvement of Public Procurement in the Countries of the Northern Triangle (TEAM-NT Program), executed by INCAE Business School with the support of USAID, organizes the "Capacity Strengthening Program for organizations of the civil society that promotes transparency in the Northern Triangle region”.

This program has the objective of helping to increase the capacities of social organizations in El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala to better fulfill their missions in favor of social auditing and greater transparency in public management.

Transparency is one of the fundamental elements to achieve a better use of public resources. To increase the levels of transparency in public administration, both at the local and national levels, civil society organizations have a crucial role to play, particularly through their direct and effective participation in specific actions of monitoring and social auditing.

The program consists of six (6) activities, three panels and three training sessions. These will be developed between the months of December 2022 and May 2023, by the hand of highly recognized international experts in all these topics. The format will be virtual, at the level of the Northern Triangle region, and will follow the following work schedule:

We are sharing key concepts and tools for a modern management of your organizations, as well as lessons from successful cases and real experiences with the idea that this can serve as a reference to improve your daily actions and your results”, said Luis Figueroa, Director ( COP), TEAM-NT.

About the TEAM-NT Program

The Support Program for the Improvement of Public Procurement in the Northern Triangle Countries (TEAM-NT Program) is facilitated by INCAE Business School with the financial support of USAID from the people of the United States of America, and has the objective to strengthen the effectiveness, efficiency, and transparency of public procurement processes in the Northern Triangle countries (El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras), through the implementation of priority improvement agendas in selected municipalities, with the participation of the relevant non-governmental sector.
