INCAE's significant impact on the region

The process of transformation that can only be experienced at INCAE is continuously evident through its great work, as well as through the tireless efforts of its Impact Centers. This process has been put into practice on countless occasions by the more than 18 thousand students who have passed through INCAE's classrooms.

We have two very recent examples of this. On the one hand, the training process of 200 women business leaders - at the head of small and medium-sized enterprises - contributes to economic growth in regions of Central America that are prone to high migration. They are part of EMPRO (Businesswomen Progressing), a program that, under the supervision of two INCAE Impact Centers - the Latin American Center for Competitiveness and Sustainable Development (CLACDS) and the Center for Inclusive and Sustainable Leadership (CELIS) - seeks to increase income levels and the number of jobs in selected communities in Honduras and Guatemala. After completing their recruitment process, 40 women-led SMEs - in each country - receive support aimed at strengthening their competencies and skills to scale their businesses, create networks, and access new markets.

Of course, this would not be possible without the drive of the Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs (ANDE), supported by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in partnership with three major corporations, Cargill, Mastercard, and PriceSmart Foundation.

CLACDS also actively participates in the Program for the Improvement of Public Procurement in the Northern Triangle countries (TEAM-NT) with the support of USAID. This program contributes to strengthening the effectiveness, efficiency, and transparency of public procurement processes at the local government level. This is accomplished by providing training and technical assistance for implementing improvements in 24 selected municipalities in the three countries of Northern Central America. As part of the TEAM NT program, the capacities of social organizations in the region are also strengthened to better fulfill their mission in favor of transparency and social auditing.

This is how INCAE's most valuable asset - its knowledge - acts for the benefit of Latin America by seeking to transform lives for a better future.

Thank you very much for believing in INCAE. May the new year be full of peace, joy, and prosperity!
