The business school of the University of Oxford, Säid Business School, has organized the first edition of the Latin American Forum for June 10 and 11, 2022, which seeks to reflect on the opportunities of Latin America as an investment destination for the rest of the world, without neglecting its role as a key player in global change.
The event, which develops the theme "Building Unlikely Coalitions", is being carried out in a face-to-face/digital hybrid scheme and will feature the participation of prominent speakers, leaders from the public and private sectors, as well as from academia, who come from from different parts of the world and who have in common a full knowledge of the Latin American reality.
Among the speakers, the President of the Board of Directors of INCAE Business School, Roberto Artavia Loría, stands out, who also attends representing Costa Rica. INCAE participates as an academic partner.
His talk will deal with the complexity of modern development -prosperity, innovation, sustainability, trust, social progress- and the need to unite the public and the private, as well as projects that are for profit with those motivated by a social or environmental impact. , in order to find comprehensive and sustainable solutions.
Roberto Artavia, on his participation, indicates that: "The sustainability of development, due to its current complexity and volatility, requires that we come together to find solutions to the challenges we face and that are common to all of us, even if the impacts vary widely. between regions, nations and societies."
