Entrepreneurs from Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador will be able to attend INCAE Labs at no cost

● The scholarships are aimed at entrepreneurs with technology-based startups with the potential to grow exponentially.
● Those interested in participating have time to apply until September 13, 2021.

The INCAE Entrepreneurship Center, thanks to the support of the Charles Haimoff Foundation, will award 40 full scholarships to entrepreneurs from Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador to train in its INCAE Labs acceleration program. This initiative seeks to promote the growth of startups in technological base of the northern countries of the region.

“The INCAE Entrepreneurship Center focuses on promoting the development of dynamic as well as traditional enterprises in the countries of the region. On this occasion, we are pleased to present this initiative in collaboration with our local partners, to train entrepreneurs from El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala through our INCAE Labs program. INCAE Labs is an acceleration workshop designed with the objective of providing tools entrepreneurs to take the next step to accelerate their growth and enhance the success of their business, ”says Francisco Pérez, director of the Entrepreneurship Center. 

Entrepreneurs who participate in the workshop will learn about strategy, formalization, finances, operations, sales, human resources and sales pitch. They will also be able to participate in a Demo Day with venture investors in which they will receive recommendations on their sales pitches and business models.

According to the publication: “Large companies, startups and innovation in Latin America: promises and challenges” of the Inter-American Development Bank, 9 out of 10 approaches from large corporations to startups are processed through organizations of the entrepreneurial ecosystem. By participating in programs such as INCAE Labs, participants increase their network of contacts and position themselves to continue their growth.
