Tegucigalpa, MDC, April 16, 2021.  Continuing its trajectory of more than 27 years in the solar energy market, the company Solaris is committed to offering clean and renewable energy solutions and therefore decides to join the “Green Retrofit Marketplace", a Proyect of CLACDS Ecobanking from INCAE Business School.

This innovative initiative seeks to provide a digital tool to facilitate the financing, sale and execution of solar projects, providing each interested party with the information they need to make decisions and thus invest in environmentally friendly technology and the long-awaited economy or reduction of the energy expenditure in homes, commerce and industries.

Solaris joins the Green Retrofit Marketplace offering products that contribute to saving energy and caring for the planet. In the words of Iván Pastor, General Manager of Solaris, “the objective of this project is to maximize sales through this new channel, so that our clients know first-hand the advantages of these technologies and the time they require to recover their investment, depending on of the bank they choose and the financial conditions and term of time they choose to finance themselves. As a company, we are encouraged to continue promoting the knowledge and growth of clean technologies in Honduras, which allow the saving of fossil fuels that pollute the planet and that is affecting climate change ”.

“It has been an enormous satisfaction to welcome Solaris to the Marketplace, as they have a long and recognized history as providers of various clean technologies in the country, also because with their presence we are expanding the range of products such as the specific case of solar water pumps, equipment that we did not have until now ”, indicated Gracia María Barahona, Director of Ecobanking.

The Platform, now with the participation of Solaris, will continue to operate in Honduras, fulfilling the objective of publicizing the business case of investing in this equipment, and helping to increase these investments. The Platform is completely free for those who wish to visit it here
