June brought great news, celebrations and experiences for executive education. We start the month with one of the highest international distinctions: June 2 Financial Times published its 2019 global ranking and, for the third consecutive year, we are in the World's Top 30 for Executive Education.

The institution rose three places with respect to 2108, ranking as # 26 in the world in executive training and consolidating itself as a leader in Latin America.

In this edition of the ranking, the Financial Times also distinguished INCAE Executive Education in the world's Top 10 in other major industry categories, as Diversity of Faculty and Participants (# 3), International Clients (# 3) and International Location (# 3).

A week later, on June 10, the Walter Kissling Gam campus hosted an unprecedented celebration: the graduation ceremony of the programs of Master in Business Administration, Executive MBA and Executive Master in Business Analytics.

A total of 229 graduates -79 women and 150 men of 14 nationalities- entered the Inca family in an activity that had the participation of Dr. Nitin Nohria, Dean of Harvard Business School, as guest of honor.

“I congratulate all the members of the generation graduating this year, and I applaud all those who came before you. Along with everyone else who has come together to celebrate this occasion today, I can only imagine how much will come of the lives and careers that you will have in the years to come. Go and do great things, ”said the Dean, who received the title of Doctor Honoris Causa that day.

Dr. Nohria was joined as special guests 10 of the 29 graduates of the first Master of Business Administration (MAE) from INCAE -which this year celebrate the 50th anniversary of graduation- and 25 graduates of the MAE XI-1979, who were unable to celebrate their graduation ceremony that year due to the Civil War in Nicaragua.

The fourth edition of the Euro-American Collaborative Leadership Conference, in which our Dean, Camelia Ilie, led the panel "Design strategies to achieve the greatest success of female ventures".

"Our proposal is to change the design of policies, practices or organizational structures, to generate collaborative environments where men and women can exploit their potential and fulfill their dreams”, Said Dr. Ilie, during the opening of the activity, held on June 7, at the Intercontinental Hotel, Costa Rica.
