The Voice of Guanacaste. July 14, 2018. Have you ever looked out to see the landscape of Bahía Salinas from the Central Park of La Cruz? At first glance, this canton seems to have everything to emerge for its natural beauty and its beaches with privileged locations to watch the sun go down. However, none of this has been enough to grow economically and socially. La Cruz has been adding figures that confirm this: its high homicide rate, high levels of poverty, the low education of its inhabitants and the lack of employment.
