INCAE is looking for entrepreneurs who want to reach their full potential and make their idea a business of impact for the region. The educational institution has launched a specialty in entrepreneurship for its Specialized MBA 2018 in Costa Rica for 20 visionaries with the potential to help the region, which will have a special grant from Cuestamoras.

"Latin America needs more capable people to innovate and create jobs to help the region grow, that is what we want to achieve with this new specialty," explains Luis Umaña Timms, Executive Director of Master's Programs. And it is that the commitment with the region that INCAE lives in its day to day, goes through strengthening the business fabric that exists in the region.

As with the other specialties of the MBA in Costa Rica, students must spend a year under a general program that provides the key tools for the administration of any type of business, and then take specialty classes in the second year. The difference is that those who want to enter the specialty of entrepreneurship must be selected by it at the beginning of the first year with an idea or model at an initial stage.

The Cuestamoras company offers the option of opting for its Enrique Uribe Business Scholarship to those who apply for this specialty. This scholarship has been awarded since 2013 to young people with a desire to undertake impact businesses, so that they can acquire the MBA tools, granting a scholarship of 100% of the cost of the program, not including additional living expenses. Said scholarship cannot be combined with other scholarships, financing or discounts offered by INCAE.

"We established the Enrique Uribe Pagès scholarship because we believe that incessant innovation generates opportunities for everyone. We want more and better entrepreneurs who, through innovation, extend new development opportunities to their collaborators, clients, allies and the communities where they operate", explains Don Rodrigo Uribe Sáenz, Chairman of the Board of Directors and founding partner of Cuestamoras, as well as a distinguished graduate of INCAE.

To qualify for the scholarship, it is necessary to have been accepted for the Specialized MBA 2018, which begins in August 2016, request the digital application to financielaid@incae.edu, present an essay about the company you want to develop or the company project you have to start after graduating from the program, or present an Executive Summary if your company is already existing. Those interested have until June 30, 2016 to begin their application process for the scholarship.
