Launch of the CAHI 2015 Innovative Leaders program
In order to promote innovation in health care in Central America, the Central American Healthcare Initiative (CAHI), in partnership with INCAE Business School, will begin the admission process of its Innovative Leaders CAHI 2015 program, starting this Wednesday October 1st.
The Innovative Leaders CAHI program seeks to provide the necessary tools and support required for the implementation, scalability and / or replication of innovative projects that improve access to health care among the most vulnerable population in the region.
It is aimed at people of legal age who have an innovative health project or initiative, and with demonstrated leadership and action capacities, committed to improving health services in Central America. In this second promotion, twelve candidates from six Central American countries (CA6) who best meet the profile and other established conditions will be chosen.
The program lasts for nine months and is made up of four face-to-face training modules and six online seminars. It will begin on April 16, 2015 with the first face-to-face training module at INCAE's Walter Kissling Gam Campus, in Costa Rica. Another three face-to-face sessions will take place in Guatemala, Nicaragua and again in Costa Rica.
The CAHI Innovative Leaders program has a high total cost, but thanks to the subsidy of our donors and sponsors, the only payment that the person admitted must make is US $ 1,200 for the entire program, including tuition, materials, travel expenses, food and accommodation.
Applications will be open from October 1, 2014 to January 10, 2015.
