Forum "Costa Rica: is it turned on or off?"

Alajuela, November 9. The National Committee of INCAE Costa Rica will hold the forum on November 10 of the current year "Costa Rica: Does it turn on or does it turn off?" where the global energy sector and its impact in Costa Rica will be analyzed, focused on investment needs.

This forum will have the participation of Mr. Gastón Monge, Vice-president of the National Committee of INCAE Costa Rica, who will give the welcoming remarks, followed by the Rector of INCAE Business School, Arturo Condo, who will explain the role of INCAE in Sustainable Development. . Professor Lawrence Pratt, Director of the Latin American Center for Competitiveness and Sustainable Development (CLACDS) will present the Energy Study carried out in Costa Rica, to conclude with a presentation by Mr. Eduardo Doryan, Executive President of the Costa Rican Electricity Institute (ICE) on the new energy law and national projects. Once the presentations are finished, there will be a panel discussion where, in addition to Professor Pratt and Mr. Doryan, Mr. Luis Javier Castro Lachner, from Mesoamerica, and Mr. Felipe Koberg from the Sugar Industry will participate. The closing of the forum will be in charge of Mr. Roberto Artavia, President of Viva Trust.

The main objective of this forum will be to present the country's energy situation, based on the studies and analyzes carried out by INCAE's CLACDS, with the support of experts in the field and the active participation of the different sectors of the country.
