CLACDS trained 16 journalists from the Region on the 2010-2011 Global Competitiveness Report

Alajuela, September 3, 2010. On September 2, the Latin American Center for Competitiveness and Sustainable Development (CLACDS) of INCAE Business School trained 16 journalists from the region on the subject of the World Economic Forum surveys, the results of which will be released on September 9 of this year in the 2010-2011 Global Competitiveness Report.

This training was in charge of INCAE researchers Víctor Umaña and Ronald Arce, in which they explained in detail the concept of competitiveness, the methodology used to carry out this Report, the correct way to analyze the data, the results of other years, how to get additional information, etc. in order for the media to make the most of this information and the experts we have at INCAE on different topics.

As a result of this training, the presence of important Costa Rican media has already been confirmed for the launch day, as well as the follow-up by webcast of the region's media. Even three media will be broadcasting our activity live from their websites.
